Library Check-Out Policies
- Standard loan period: 1 week for TK-1st grade, 2 weeks for 2nd-5th grade
- Renewals = 1
- Hold period (if applicable) = 1 week
If students finish their book(s) before their due date, they may stop by the library in between class visits or recess/lunch to swap out books. Books may be returned outside of library hours using the book drop.
Overdue Books
If students forget to return their book, they will be reminded that their book needs to be returned. He/she may still check out a book that day. However, if he/she forgets again the following week, they will not be able to check out a book until the overdue book has been returned.
Lost Books
- Option 1: Book replacement. Bring in a new copy of the lost book (hardcover preferred).
- Option 2: Pay for the lost book ($20). Cash or check accepted.
